Kenda is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and currently licensed to practice in Texas.
As a nurse, she has practiced in multiple settings, including med-Surg, Emergency Room, urgent care, international travel, disease management, and IV pump training. As a family nurse practitioner, she has practiced in multiple settings, including orthopedics, floating with UMC Physicians to their clinics, including family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, and gastroenterology.
Kenda was born and raised in Lubbock. She graduated from Lubbock High School many, many moons ago. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a fitness enthusiast. She loves being active and enjoys sports such as alpine skiing, obstacle course racing, and functional fitness.
